The panel was organized in the framework of the 8th Tensions of Europe Conference (conference theme: Borders and Technology), and it was part of a pre-conference early career scholars summer school, with the support European University of Viadrina (European Challenges: Technological Change and Re-Arrangements of Migration and Work project), in coordination with the Risk Change project. More than 40 participants, professors, postdoctoral researchers, PhD candidates attended the discussion. The issues addressed were referred to the relation of borders, migration and science and technology, focussing on the ongoing research on related issues in Europe.
