The feet in the water and the gaze in the stars, waiting for the lightning
The main topic of the conversation with Ale de la Puente will be a search for the center as a physical and conceptual matter. Carried out through different expeditions and other methodologies Ale de la Puente will speak about the search that became the creative process for her recent work.
It is about the search of the LHC ring (Large Hadron Collider) at CERN (European Council for Nuclear Research) based in Geneve.
„We had learned that we are not the center of the Solar System, nor it is Solar System the center of the Milky Way, … and moreover, there is no center of the Universe.
The search of the center, in terms of encounter it, or to let it happen, seems to be different approaches to knowledge. Although the center does not have any dimension, neither it is fixed in time or space, the challenge to find it became a metaphor itself.“ (excerpt from Ale de la Puente’s text)
