Kibla Gaming Lounge features the following selection of video games:
Cuphead is a classic run and gun action game in the style of Contra and Broforce. The visuals and audio are inspired by cartoons of the 1930s, while its other specialty is the level of difficulty, requiring perfect coordination and memorizing of the opponent’s moves, which is why many feel it is too demanding.
League of Legends is currently the most played game in the world. Players can choose from a wide range of characters, each with its strengths and weaknesses. The objective of the game is to destroy the enemy’s structures, like Towers, Inhibitors, and finally the Nexus. Players battle with their team, and each of the five players must choose their character before the start of the game.
Team Fortress 2 is a team-based multiplayer first-person shooter video game. The number of players is not limited, since there are many different folders and player modes to choose from. There are several training modes available, including the Spy, Medic, Soldier, Sniper, etc.
Hearthstone is a card game resembling Magic: the Gathering. The objective is to collect as many of the best cards possible and create your own pack; however, apart from strategy, it often also takes luck to win this game.
Half-life 2 is a first-person shooter game. Upon its release, it was considered by many to be the greatest game ever created. It is also a game created using the Source game engine, the improved version of which is still used now in game development. It was one of the first games to use a highly realistic physics simulation.
Portal was originally released as an amateur product created using Source. Because such a concept of the game was unknown at the time, it soon gained popularity. All the player has is a portal gun, which can create two distinct portal ends, orange and blue, for the player to pass through. All the puzzles and levels are created in a way that they can only be passed using portals.
At 5 p. m. a presentation of video games Cuphead and Half-life 2/Portal.
We will present and learn about the Unity game development environment. Unity is one of the best platforms for video game development. Everything we need is combined in one place, from a game engine to a graphic interface. All we have to do is start making games. At the Unity workshop, we will discover the basics of using a game development engine and learn how to create a simple game.
