STUDY visits: MSUV


Within the RISK CHANGE project, the team of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Vojvodina had the great pleasure to have more study visits within the program, which we consider to be one of the very important aspects of the project. The Museum team visited VENICE BIENNIAL and Festival for art and digital culture TRANSMEDIALE, and went to Malta, within the residential program of artists. These study visits were very important because they informed the museum team about the current trends in contemporary, media and intermedia art, about new and contemporary ways of creating events, as well as innovations in the settings themselves. In addition, the great importance of these programs is networking, making new contacts, which later contribute to potential new collaborations and projects. As a special segment of the project, the Museum made a digital archive, ie short videos in which the artists, if they are participants in the exhibition, talked about their works and how they, as well as their art, fit into the theme of the project, while a separate part and video statements by artists in which they respond to how they see the whole theme of migration / change / movement, as well as a review of the current crisis and the changes we are all witnessing.
