After Effects is a program used by the majority of professionals, amateurs, and others dealing with video productions, animation, photo processing and programming. The program offers countless options and approaches to creation. At the same time, it is user-friendly to those who already have some experience with similar programs, as well as to those who are facing for the first time the challenges of learning a designing, editing and animation program.

The workshop is suitable for all creatives, for all those interested in new media and animation, and for anyone with a desire to learn something new. The workshop will be performed for the first time as part of the KIBLIX 2017 festival program.

Aleš Gibičar (1986) is a freelancer working in several multimedia fields such animation (2D/3D), design (2D/3D) and video production (editing, special effects) for several years. For this year’s MIKK21 Festival (22 – 23 September 2017), he created an animation that was projected onto the exterior of the Murska Sobota castle.

Maja Škrbič (1982) is head and coordinator of the Multimedia Center MIKK, and a multimedia designer. She has years of experience in working with design software (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Adobe InDesign, 3D Max, Foundry Modo), and also 19 years of experience in pottery making.
