CMBR project is based on the data from the Planck space telescope of the European Space Agency. The Planck satellite has recorded the measurements of the coldest objects in the Universe, and has given the insight into the creation of the first major structures in which galaxies evolved later on. The beginnings of these structures can be seen in the cosmic microwave background radiation or the CMBR, the first image of the universe. By using the ESA measurements, we used a method of sonification and digital processing of data from the Planck satellite (the mapping of fluctuations in the CMBR) to convert the measurements into an ambient sound mass intertwined with randomized sequences of cosmological parameters. When listening to the results of sonification, we really listen to the data. The result of the conversion to the audio waveform with such a large amount of data opens a contemplative space for the time dimension of the past-future. CMBR is the “noise” signal and fills the entire universe. It is the oldest light, which can still be detected and that came into existence about 13.7 billion years ago.
On the alternative and electronic music scene since 1993, PureH is in its current incarnation a moniker of its founder Simon Šerc, a sound and video artist, recording engineer, performer and head of the Pharmafabrik label. He produces experimental, ambient-leaning electronica, often accompanied by corresponding video works. Besides producing his own music, he has also done commissions for theatre.
PureH was one of the first Slovene bands to fuse together modern electro, a variety of ambiental, dub and heavy New York illbient music with acoustic rock instruments, performing it at live concerts with the addition of synchronised video projections as a counterweight to laptop artists and DJs.

PureH is an artist/group formed in 1993 when their first clips Inertia appeared. Before that, members were gathering experiences in several punk, noise, metal and grindcore bands (Extreme Smoke, D.T.W., Patareni, etc.). PureH initially consisted of a producer, bass player and video artist Simon Šerc – the only constant member. After performing at the Break21 festival in 1997, a drummer and guitarist joined him for live gigs. PureH has released various stuff under his own label Pharmafabrik Recordings, and has been involved in projects such as: Cadlag, KSVLKSV, Spheres, XARQ, Earslaughter, Extreme Smoke 57, D.T.W., Ontervjabbit, Myrornas Krig, Glaxprism, Patareni, and others.
