In Memoriam: Syria, the land of Jasmine

We are hereby inviting you to a public lecture by Uroš Dokl entitled IN MEMORIAM – SYRIA, THE LAND OF JASMINE.
This is the third lecture in a series of discussions on the topic of migrations and the related challenges, which is being carried out as part of the Risk Change project.
The author will be presenting his first-hand experiences from Syria (like it no longer exists), summing up thoughts related to the existing European situation, and highlighting the most commonly occurring stereotypes in relation to refugees.

Uroš Dokl is a PhD student of sociology and a humanitarian from Maribor, who refused to sit at home and silently observe how his beloved Syria falls to pieces.
